We Can Learn A Lot from Dogs

My dog Lily is pregnant.  We realized this about a week ago.  Her nipples are more pronounced and she is markedly more hungry!  I think she is due sometime around mid October in timing with one of her out of the yard sojourns.  We have another dog, Sophia that is a good digger and likes to explore and bring Lily along with her, but she was fixed before we adopted her from animal control.   I am due sometime in November.   I think watching her birth her puppies will remind me of what birthing is really all about. HypnoBirthing will allow me to birth as nature intended.  I have seen kittens and dogs being born.  And frankly I don’t see them doing the “hee hee hoooo”  breathing or screaming in agony.  Not in the slightest.  They make an area for the younguns, birth quietly and the little ones automatically begin to nurse.  The puppies and kittens automatically know what to do as so do the mommies.   Why don’t humans take more of a clue from the animal community?  Mammals giving birth in the animal world is as nature intended for *all* mammals, humans included!

It is so true birth is a natural event and not at all cause for alarm. Unfortunately birth is dramatized in our society because drama makes a much better show than a quiet normal birth. We, as a very civilized society, also seem to lean towards wanting to show how “advanced” we are by all the complicated machines we have available.
Birth always has been and always must remain a beautiful natural event.

HypnoBirthing helps mothers return to nature in a lovely and supportive manner.
