Too Much of a Good Thing?

A 27-year-old Egyptian woman just gave birth to septuplets according to a news report. Apparently, she had taken fertility drugs to enhance her chances of conceiving a son because she “only” had three daughters.

This story is sad in so many ways.

The babies were born prematurely, which necessitated that they had to be placed in four different hospitals in neonatal intensive care units, thus preventing the mother from bonding with her children.

And imagine trying to breastfeed this crowd. Probably near impossible, not to mention having to keep up with diapering and comforting the little ones and attending to their daily needs. Quite a daunting task.

According to the report, the mother took fertility drugs because she wanted a son. Her choice is her own, but the outcome, seven babies, does demonstrate the risk of introducing foreign substances into a woman’s body.

How HypnoFertility Could Help

HypnoFertility offers the tremendous benefit of being totally free of drugs and their side effects. This method offers strong support to the woman and it helps her to gain understanding and insight into herself.

Psychological barriers to pregnancy are removed, old scars are healed, and the woman learns to appreciate her amazing body and its’ ability to conceive and bear children.

HypnoFertility sessions can also reveal that the reason a woman does not conceive, in spite of having unprotected sex, is that she really does not want a child. How much better for all concerned to discover this before conception than after the baby is born.

Responses

When I read of anything that interfers with the natural process of birth, it always makes me a little uneasy, and I was very heartened to read your response. We both know what a difference hypnobirthing makes, and how it works with the body to allow the natural process of birth to occur, which is easy and comfortable when we don’t get in the way. Thank you so much for writing in this way.

Best regards,
