The following is a sweet little story shared by an Australian HypnoBirthing practitioner.  

After the completion of the last class one of the mothers turned to the instructor and mentioned that her husband, who also had participated in the classes, was “nesting.”  The husband then turned to the group and related that he had never had interest in gardening before but suddenly, and he thinks this is because of the HypnoBirthing course; he wants the garden of their home to look really special for their baby.  Consequently he took a day off from work and cleared the whole yard.  Next he was planting lots of new plants and trees for his baby.  As he spoke, it was clear that he felt compelled in someway and he was surprised at himself for wanting to do this.  His wife, of course, was beaming.

The instructor related that it was one of those moments where their feelings were really palpable and she was moved.  She further related that she now has a whole new understanding of the phrase “turning over a new leaf.”
