How to Avoid Smaller Size.

Once again we have evidence to prove that natural is by far superior to artificial.  We in HypnoBirthing ® happily recognize that nature’s design is excellently suited for birthing and care for our babies and their parents.  We celebrate the efficacy of a woman’s marvelous body to conceive and birth babies and we strongly recommend breastfeeding as the preferred method for nurturing our young.  Science has repeatedly shown that breast milk is the perfect food for babies because it contains everything an infant requires for optimum growth and development.

The act of nursing also provides mother and child opportunity for bonding which is necessary for the development of attachment.  Attachment is the foundation for a well adjusted and confident personality and thus creates a healthy adult.

This is not to say that a baby fed formula from a bottle is doomed to a bleak maladjusted future; we simply assert that human breast milk is nature’s most perfect food for human babies.

We suggest that mothers avoid using plastic bottles for feeding their infants especially their male children.   This warning is based on a newly discovered correlation between plastics containing phthalates also known as DEHP, which is added to make them soft and pliable and small penis size.

Research has found a possible link between small penis size and incomplete descent of testicles in boy babies and their mother’s use of products such as cosmetics and perfumes.  The suspected link is between personal products containing DEHP and the feminization of male children.

The message is that it behooves all of us, but especially women of childbearing age, to be aware of the possible negative effects of artificial substances.  The message continues that we might be better off by choosing natural if we want healthy strong offspring.

Thanks Stella. There is also BPA in those plastics as well which has been known to cause diabetes according to some studies please see link below:

I breastfed my son for a little over two years, but also had to work full-time so I pumped. I do think he is all boy and should not have any male organ abnormalities though, even though he did get expressed milk through a plastic bottle. This time around I do hope to work part-time so my child shall get her milk mostly straight from the tap! I do intend to use glass bottles exclusively for expressed milk for those times I’m away from her.
